Be a Fierce Cheerleader & Proudly Wear Your Gear
At practice and competitions, parents, caregivers, and friends of the athletes fill the stands to cheer. We are a proud, lively bunch! And usually, we’re also the biggest and most easily-identified group. That’s because we’ve got noisemakers and pompoms, and people sporting the team’s colors and gear. When our athletes’ heads pop up from the water for a breath between strokes, they smile because they hear their name being cheered. When they finish a lap, they look up to the stands and see their adoring fans. We’ve got the best cheerleaders, ever! So keep cheering. Contribute Financial Support
The team’s launch was financed by volunteers’ fundraising. That support bought all the gear that’s provided, free of charge, to all athletes when they first join the team. The kick-off and end-of-season pizza parties, which are such beloved and important parts of teambuilding and camaraderie, are also supported by student fundraising and in-kind food/drink donations by athletes’ families. Now, when friends and family purchase gear to wear in support of the team, it not only shows your pride in your athlete, but helps raise money for future team needs.
